Karen Djoury
Chief of Chief of Staff to the CEO
Karen Djoury is the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Slack, working cross-functionally with leadership and teams to drive collaboration and connection and to help build community across the company. She is specifically focused on driving performance on company goals, strategic projects, internal communications and supporting Slack’s employee engagement strategy to ensure that all employees feel empowered to do their best work.
Karen has more than twenty years of engineering experience at Microsoft, having led product, AI, and data analytics teams. She has worked on enterprise OS, consumer productivity and mobile apps. She worked in a start-up called Modsy, a consumer 3D interior design service, as a VP of Engineering. Karen has previously led key people- and culture-focused initiatives like founding women’s groups and building out leadership training and engagement.
Karen has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
